O Grammy Latino já teve seus vencedores revelados nesta semana. Agora, chegou a vez do Grammy 2022 revelar quais foram os artistas selecionados para concorrer à 64ª edição da premiação, que é uma das mais renomadas da música. O mundo todo estava ansioso para saber quais cantores, álbuns e singles entraram no páreo em 2021. A dúvida acabou através de uma live que contou com a presença do BTS, H.E.R., Måneskin, Tayla Parx, do comediante Nate Bargatze, do cantor Jon Batiste e da jornalista Gayle King fizeram às honras.

Pela primeira vez em 30 anos os indicados vem exclusivamente dos votos dos integrantes da Academia e não passarão por uma revisão final de um comitê. Outra alteração importante para o Grammy 2022 aconteceu nas quatro principais categorias (Revelação, Gravação, Música do Ano e Álbum do Ano), onde os indicados passam de 8 para 10.

O Grammy 2022 acontecerá no dia 31 de janeiro, em Los Angeles, no antigo Staples Center, agora Crypto.com Arena. Jon Batiste é o artista com o maior número de indicações do ano, está concorrendo em 11 categorias. Ele foi seguido por Justin Bieber (8), Doja Cat (8), H.E.R. (8), Billie Eilish (7) e Olivia Rodrigo (7).
